Early Days

Audio excellence in music production – with no AI

Back in the Day

Once upon a time, when MIDI was new and DAWs operated on Atari computers, there were two young recording studio Engineers working away at making great records in the golden age of Studio recording.

Graham and Richie were busy working with some of the great Artists of the age, and can namecheck projects with David Bowie, the Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Voice of the Beehive, Transvision Vamp, Big Audio Dynamite, Billy Bragg and Fine Young Cannibals amongst the many.

They came together to pool their acquired skills in songwriting and production to make something new for themselves. For the first time full production facilities could be realised without having have a stratospheric budget.

PowerCircle was Born

So PowerCircle was formed in the Studio with Graham and Richie combining skills as Writers and Producers. Things were greatly enhanced by the addition of Louise (Burton) as singer for PowerCircle. Louise was able to bring her amazing voice, personality and collaboration skills to help everyone try out ideas at a professional way, with sophisticated multitracking techniques, with extensive alternatives and ad libs too. The team worked together to record and compile fantastic vocal productions, all at Graham’s private studio facility in the heart of the Surrey countryside.

After a couple of independent releases, PowerCircle was signed to Magnet Records, and then Deep Distraxion, part of Edel Records UK.
